Via Rolling Stone: A new music-centered survey by Public Policy Polling shows that Justin Bieber is widely disliked by Americans. Bieber received 54 percent in unfavorable ratings while garnering 20 percent on the likability side, according to the poll, which surveyed 571 voters nationwide on May 6 and 7.
Lady Gaga (29 percent positive vs. 50 percent negative) and Chris Brown (13 percent positive vs. 57 percent negative) registered as overwhelmingly unlikable. Rihanna was viewed as unlikable by 39 percent against the 30 percent that found her likable.
Adele and Taylor Swift scored among the most favorable, Adele coming in at 54 percent positive and 18 percent negative, Taylor with 53 percent positive and 27 percent negative, and Justin Timberlake racked up a 52 percent positive rating against a 24 percent negative rating. Beyoncé scored well with a 51 percent likability rating versus 30 percent who found her unlikeable, but husband Jay-Z only scored a 25 percent likability rating.
